Stonepine Mastermind

Congratulations to Rojo (Ch. Heatherhill A Mitey Fine Man x Ch. Stonepine Silk) and his owner Pili. Rojo took back-to-back BOB Puppy wins this weekend in Bogota, Colombia at his very first show! Rojo is a littermate of Stonepine Solaris "Solo" who was BOBP at the 2012 ASCA National Specialty recently.

Puppy Love

Jenny Smith takes on six pups at once during her recent visit to Stonepine Australian Shepherds! As the Rozz-Turner litter turns 7 weeks old this week, we gear up for more puppy visits! The pups are certainly thrilled!

Heatherhill Double-O Heaven "Cazz" x Stonepine Sparks Fly "Ash"] She is a wonderful dog.  She is smart, obedient, curious, happy, and loving.  I attached a pic of her swimming in my pool, one of her favorite things to do. Lucky to get a photo where they weren't all running! The litter is growing so fast, Having fun meeting the cat today as well as playing in the wet morning grass and digging in the dirt. Starting to take longer and longer walks around the property. Exploring like crazy and loving life!

Puppy Agility!

Pirate (Fancy Deacon July 2011 litter) and Warren in the beginning stages of agility training. Pirate also has a terrific start in obedience and is an outstanding companion to his Aussie buddy Zayvee.

Week Four is so special. The five pups are up, very active, and now eating mush to supplement mom's milk. They are making fun noises, sucking on each others faces and toes and ready to start going out for walkies this week! Pictured above is the red tri puppy boy.

Sammy Celebrates a Birthday!

Sammy celebrates her 5th birthday in style on a beach in southern California. She is a  littermate sister to Peyton (Ch. Taycin's Thriple Threat) and Turner (Ch. Heatherhill No Stone Unturned) and was co-bred by Alan McCorkle and Nannette Newbury.

Heatherhill Jada Da Ville) earned her Pretrial Title this past weekend at the Vaca Valley Stockdog Club Trials in Vacaville (CA).  We have been working with Lora Cox and Jill Reifschnieder. Sallie also has her Rally Novice, and two legs of her Rally Advanced."

The most colorful litter I have ever bred! So much fun to look at these babies of Silk (Ch. Stonepine Silk) sired by Ch. Heatherhill Mightey Fine Man "Mightey." They are all boys with the exception of the red merle girl.

Silk babies arrive!

Ch. Stonepine Silk whelped five gorgeous pups on July 1, 2012. Silk was bred to Ch. Heatherhill A Mitey Fine Man, "Mitey," to produce five healthy pups. All are boys with the exception of the red merle girl! What a colorful group.

Stonepine Sheer Silk) "Graham" goes Best of Breed this weekend at the Central Valley Australian Shepherd Club shows (Tulare, CA) under breeder judge Kathy Bryan. Graham is co-owned with Trista and Kathy Hidalgo and was handled on his first outing as a special to BOB by Trista!

"Hi Nannette - Just checking in to let you know that we have a very happy Aussie. She's so much fun, gets along with all  other dogs, and is such a quick learner. She's a big ball and frisbee girl, and loves to play hide and seek with toys in the house. We've taken many agility classes, and she's learned some tricks as well. We still do lots of hiking but the highlight of her day is chasing and being chased by other dogs every evening at the park. She's quite well known there and everyone gets very excited when she arrives. Here's a recent picture from a trip to Los Angeles where we stayed at a hotel that takes dogs. All the bellmen and valets were in love with her and she was thoroughly spoiled!" Pam
