Xabi Vacationing on the Oregon Coast

Xabi is one of the wonderful Sash (Ch. Stonepine Sheer Silk) and Trump (Stonepine Makes Cents) litter from 2008. His owner Maureen Twomey (Eugene, OR) sent this great update. "He's a love and reminds me of his sire in looks. He fits in with us very well. My female Aussie Nuala, who just turned 13, tolerates his nonsense with good spirits. He loves her and keeps her lively. One of my sons, who lives in Germany, always wants him included when we SKYPE. Everyone that comes in contact with him says he's the most cheerful dog they've ever met. And beautiful too."

Go Graham!

A year ago I was presented with a remarkable litter out of my cherished Sash (Ch. Stonepine Sheer Silk) sired by Deacon (Heatherhill Dazzle Revival Man). The blessings continued to flow as I shared these pups with equally remarkable new owners and now friends: Marie Couey (Ruckus), Robin Paboojian (Enzo) and the Hidalgo clan (Graham and Sasha).

As a one-year anniversary present Graham (pictured above) expertly handled by Trista Hidalgo, captured a 5-point major under ASCA breeder judge Cheri Preciado at the ASC of San Diego shows! Many wishes for continued success to this talented team.It is truly a love fest.

...worth a thousand words

Most of my dogs are placed in permanent homes as spoiled rotten family pets. Every once in a while however I get a request like I received from Sherrie Scott (Spring Fever Australian Shepherds) of Utah looking for an outstanding Juniors dog for her incredibly talented daughter Katelyn. After consulting with Alan McCorkle (Heatherhill Australian Shepherds) we offered a young bitch I had bred, China (Stonepine Shanghai) to Katelyn. Well the rest is history. Am I proud of this team and their accomplishments? You betcha. As Katelyn's successful Junior Showmanship career draws to a close, this photo says it all for me.

Cow Palace Fun

Another year, another Golden Gate Kennel Club benched show in the bag. Whew! Congratulations to all the attendees. The most fun was not showing, but meeting and greeting all the Stonepine puppy people that stopped by to say hello! Sure made the long weekend go by quickly with great good cheer. Pictured above is Natalie Conn and Lucy. Natalie and her family stopped by the Stonepine benching area and shared this wonderful photo. Congratulations to Natalie and Lucy on their wonderful obedience work. Can't wait to see you in the competition ring in the future.

Young Adults Available

He loves the water and plays in the mud! Pilot and three other adolescent Australian Shepherds are available from Stonepine Australian Shepherds at this time. These fun-loving pups are dual registered, and will be sold to pet homes on a mandatory spay neuter contract. They are structurally sound, and healthy. I have one blue merle dog, two black tri girls and one blue merle girl available only to outstanding pet/performance homes. They are all crate-trained, leash broken, socialized and have won ribbons at ASCA shows! Three of them have quite a bit of drive and would do well in performance homes or homes that have already owned and trained Australian Shepherds. One girl is more casual. Call for details (831.726.2700).

Silk-Turner Litter Week 5

The Silk babies went outside today! As it is going to rain tomorrow, it was good timing. Hard to get them all together in one picture.

Sash-Deacon Litter Week 6

First time out in the big world, it was a little too warm and too much California sunshine. The group shot is missing one pup as he is hiding in the shade under the van! They will go for "walkies" again this evening and hopefully we will get some better pictures of everyone.

Silk-Turner Litter Week 4

Way cute!

Silk-Turner Litter Week 4

This isn't the entire litter, I am missing three of them! They are moving around and developing their personalities now. They love being outside and our weather has graciously cooperated this week.

Sash Grins

The best grinner in the world! Not to be confused with bad behavior! This is one happy mom!

Silk-Turner Litter Week 2.5

Their eyes are now open and they are enjoying learning about their surroundings. They are still a little too young to go outside and enjoy the nice weather, but will probably be ready to play on the green grass next week.

Sash-Deacon Litter Week 5

It is hard for me to believe these gorgeous babies are now 5 weeks old! They got to romp outside a bit this week in between rain storms and are having a blast! Great temperaments, fun to snuggle and love on; a truly wonderful group of pups.
