...worth a thousand words

Most of my dogs are placed in permanent homes as spoiled rotten family pets. Every once in a while however I get a request like I received from Sherrie Scott (Spring Fever Australian Shepherds) of Utah looking for an outstanding Juniors dog for her incredibly talented daughter Katelyn. After consulting with Alan McCorkle (Heatherhill Australian Shepherds) we offered a young bitch I had bred, China (Stonepine Shanghai) to Katelyn. Well the rest is history. Am I proud of this team and their accomplishments? You betcha. As Katelyn's successful Junior Showmanship career draws to a close, this photo says it all for me.

Congratulations to owner/handler Robin Paboojian and Stonepine Fuel Injected (Sash-Deacon litter) 5-point major ASCA win this weekend. Enzo went WD and BOW from the 9-12 dog class under AKC and ASCA judge Del Richards at the CVASC show in Reedley, CA. Enzo faced some stiff competition from his brother Graham in the same class! Cow Palace Fun

Another year, another Golden Gate Kennel Club benched show in the bag. Whew! Congratulations to all the attendees. The most fun was not showing, but meeting and greeting all the Stonepine puppy people that stopped by to say hello! Sure made the long weekend go by quickly with great good cheer. Pictured above is Natalie Conn and Lucy. Natalie and her family stopped by the Stonepine benching area and shared this wonderful photo. Congratulations to Natalie and Lucy on their wonderful obedience work. Can't wait to see you in the competition ring in the future.
